3D EAU product
The sediment trap: Limit the silting up of your sewer system
Issues
Control deposits and limit their resuspension, while optimizing work costs.
Applications: Can be installed upstream of infrastructure (pumping stations, DOs, siphons, storm water basins, etc.) to protect them and limit silting in the networks.
The charriage trap, an economical alternative to the sand chamber:
The charriage trap minimizes the resuspension of stored materials and prevents the formation of H2S, to find out more.
Proposed solution
The charriage trap traps mineral matter (sand, gravel, pebbles, etc.) through a calibrated opening to minimize resuspension without promoting grease flotation and float accumulation.
Patented device: patent 09 00074 “Optimization of the operation and use of grit removal facilities” (publication number 2 940 987).
Methodology
- Feasibility study: taking into account the actual network environment. Hydrodynamics and solids transport in the network are characterized, to enable correct integration of the equipment into the existing environment.
- Validation, if necessary, by 3D modeling. This can be used in cases where the structure is not standard, to check the efficiency of the PAC in the network.
Design, manufacture and installation
The charriage trap is designed and manufactured in our workshops in Troyes. It is then tested on a test bench, delivered to site and installed.
The charriage trap requires cleaning when the storage chamber is full (pumping out the supernatant, which does not have to be pumped down into the network).
Solution proposée
Benefits
More compact alternative to traditional desalters or sand chambers
Does not promote grease flotation and float accumulation
Ensures solids are trapped and stored without resuspension
Limits operating constraints
Optimize work costs
