The Josette: improving the reliability of self-monitoring of discharges
Issues
The longer the weirs, the more significant the flows generated by small overflow areas. The uncertainty surrounding the assessment of the volume discharged is therefore incompatible with reliable measurement. The decree of 21 July 2015 requires a diagnosis of the sewage system to be carried out in order to understand how the network really works and to identify any malfunctions.

Two uses :
Fixed installation on combined sewer overflow
A rounded V-shaped weir for reliable measurement of the discharge head. The conversion of head to flow is adapted to self-monitoring objectives. The head-discharge relationship used is validated numerically and experimentally.
Kit for a measurement campaign
UA calibrated weir to ensure reliable measurement of the head and conversion to flow, while limiting the risk of clogging.
